At Thompson Taraz we take our corporate social responsibility seriously. We closely follow the expectations and demands towards environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG), not only for us but for our clients and their businesses. We recognise that environmental and social factors have rapidly become a requirement for all businesses, and not an optional extra.

Our CSR program is already well established and includes initiatives in reducing our carbon footprint, effective waste management, sustainability procurement and our corporate social responsibilities. 

As well as having a group focus on communities in need, many of our individual employees have adopted charitable causes of their own. The result is a constant desire to add value to the lives of others - whether it’s a case of raising funds for medical research, contributing to the resuscitation of a community institution, or playing a long-term role in the education of a community.

For example, Thompson Taraz and Ripple Africa have been charitable partners since 2005. Together, the partnership provides teachers and resources for nine pre-schools in Malawi, making a difference to hundreds of children who previously had no access to any pre-school education.
