Thompson Taraz was delighted to welcome back their corporate charity Ripple Africa to their offices this week.
The company has now been supporting Ripple for 15 years. We are always thrilled to hear first-hand about the progress and impact that the charity continues to make in Northern Malawi, in particular the projects to improve standards of education and healthcare, as well as the preservation and sustainability of the local environment.
Geoff Furber, Founder and CEO of Ripple Africa, commented:
“When Thompson Taraz first started supporting Ripple Africa's Pre-School project in 2005, little did we know it would be the start of a long running partnership which would lead to, we estimate, 4,500 students who have benefited from the eight pre-schools we now run. So often aid is a one-off payment but Ripple Africa has been able to accomplish so much with their pre-schools because Thompson Taraz have made regular quarterly donations for 15 years which meant we could budget and plan and achieve amazing results.”
